Good day, I have a simple question - when I opened my FNB bank account, I had to send in about 3 copies of proof of physical address. One for each account, and a third because they "never received the first". Unfortunately my Postal address is the one reflecting on my statements, and since I'm a tenant in a flat, I DONT GET A ELECTRICITY BILL. I want to change my address which is reflecting on my statements, from my postal address, to my physical address WHICH YOU HAVE RECIEVED PROOF OF LESS THAN A YEAR AGO, and YES, it is still the same address. WHY in our dear Fathers' name do I need to send in ANOTHER copy of proof of residence, and not only that, I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO MY NEAREST BANK!? I opened an account with "MyBranch" for a reason, and that is because it is convenient, but this is everything BUT. Please tell me what happens to the papers we send in, and why do I need to resubmit it TO CHANGE A REFLECTING ADDRESS!? I can open an account without it, I bought a R13000 laptop through you WITHOUT it, but to change a statement, I need it? Its THE SAME ADDRESS! I would understand if its a different address to the one you have on your system, but its not? Please explain this scenario
