Poor attitude and customer service

Lost my ID book recently. Moved address and tried yo update my address by going into ABSA karaglen. I explained i had lost my ID but had my drivers license, SA passport and my new lease agreement. I was told that i cannot change my address without my ID book. But according to the ABSA and Virgin FICA requirements they could accept my drivers or passport when ID book is lost. The lady even printed out the requirements stating this but then said she'll process the change but my account will be blocked without my ID book. What is the point of having regulations when your staff don't know them or follow them! I asked to speak to a manager and was told they don't have managers, really! Worst customer service i have ever received and i cannot wait to close my account with you and move to another bank. The attitude was bad throughout i including clicking of tounges and rolling of eyes! I am actually a customer who is simply trying to update my address which is to YOUR BENEFIT! You can keep the incorrect address i really don't care. This really is a rubbish bank
