Why go into the bank to change address?

In September 2013 my husband and I went into Nedbank Westville (customer care counter) and changed our address. We went back to our 'old' address this morning to find that the changes had not been recorded by the bank because there were a number of statements which had been sent to the 'old' address. Please will someone have the decency to phone me and rectify this asap.
