Quote and actual price very different

I did an online quote for insurance from dial direct and was given an estimate quotation for R490.81, when I called to confirm the policy, the price went up to almost 'R900. I know the quote is an estimate but how do you guys quote an estimate that is almost R400 out? I must say that you guys really need to sort out your quoting system
