Last year when Dial Direct put up their prices, I called in and got the price reduced. Now, Dial Direct has done it again. Notification came during the holiday season... who wants to be bothered about it then... but now I wondered, lets get an alternate quote on line by Hippo and low and behold, comparing apples to apples, DIAL DIRECT QUOTE ONLINE IS R526.51 OPPOSED TO R840.26 WHICH THEY ARE BILLING ME!
Last year I called, this year Dial Direct can explain on HelloPeter to the public why they are screwing us.
Don't tell me it is a promotion to get new customers because that means you are screwing your present customers, the ones who fill your bank balance every month.
On Hippo, DD quote is in the 2/3rd highest which I can accept, my choice. But even the household insurance is lower on the Hippo quote.
Next question is, how long is there a difference and will we be reimbursed or is this just the norm??
