I asked Standard Bank where I could view my statement for points earned with Avios as I had spent a great deal of money on my card but the BA statement on [URL Removed] had not indicated any change for months. I received five replies telling me 'I would be contacted' eventually being told to log on to [URL Removed] Then I got another email with a reference number and a telephone number. After being put through to seven different people I was eventually connected with British Airways desk who told me they have nothing to do with transferring the points. I called again and was told to contact [URL Removed] I then wrote an email of complaint and immediately got a response that told me to contact ... [URL Removed] IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT STANDARD BANK CREDIT CARD ACTUALLY TRAINS THEIR STAFF ON THEIR OWN PRODUCTS. ABJECT DISGRACE. We have the most expensive banking system in the world and it is also the most inefficient.
