Standard Bank changed my account names!!

I noticed that I no longer get credited with Avios points for spending on my credit card. When I queried this with British Airways, I was told that my account with them and the name on my credit card don't reconcile. I dug a little deeper and found that Standard Bank had changed the name on my credit card!! I have had several accounts with them since 1989 under my professional name and in October this year they made a decision to change my account name without even consulting me! I spoke to customer care at Standard Bank, pointing out that my other accounts were in the correct name and why would they have unilaterally changed my credit card account name? He said that someone would get back to me within 24 - 48 hours. That was last week.

The next day I noticed that another one of my account names had been changed and I can't get anyone at Standard Bank to respond. I didn't think that their ineptitude could surprise me anymore, but this takes the cake.
