I recently settled my ABSA vehicle finance account because I sold my car. I requested that my vehicle registration documentation must be sent to my nearest ABSA branch, which was done promptly. However, I owned a Toyota Hilux bakkie and the registration documents sent to me is for a Golf 4. After 5 tries to get this sorted out and holding on for what felt like hours, the answer is that I need to now go back to the bank for the wrong documentation to be sent back to ABSA. I also have to request the correct documents via a signed letter and provide a new copy of my id. I cannot comprehend why ABSA's administrative stuff up is now becoming my issue to sort out!!! This is the worst service I have ever received!
