Smart Shopper points converted to Aviios LOST

I converted 4800 Smart Shopper points to Avios on 14/09/2013 at Fourways Crossings Pick n' Pay. More than a month later it still is not reflecting in my BA Executive Club account, even though I received an email from Pick 'n Pay, claiming that the issue has been resolved.

I phoned the Avios helpline 6 times over a three-week period with calls lasting up to half an hour and being transferred to BA Executive Club and back numerous times. The staff does not understand the flow of Avios and no reference numbers are given for calls, so each time they are unaware that there was a previous query.

600 Avios (4800 Smart Shopper points) have been from me and I spent more that the value of those Avios on phone calls and much more on time trying to sort out these issues. I will also now not qualify for the additional 500 Avios promotion that ends in November as a result of this of my points.

I switched all my family's shopping to Pick 'n Pay as a result of the campaign that promised so much and feel extremely let down at the treatment I received with no-one taking responsibility.
