I opened up my FNB account at the beginning of October. I order my smart device with it. Initially I was informed that they are waiting for the hold on my account to be lifted. Then it was and they are processing it. I followed up as the courier has not contacted me. She informed me that the product has been ordered and the courier will contact me. Then after 2 days no call, asked again and she informed me that she will follow up. Got an email stating that the device is with the courier. Then I asked for the number of the courier. I was informed that due to a system error they need to place the order again. I phoned today asking about my device and was told the order was only placed today and not yesterday as I was informed. Only to be told that they are now out of stock and can't give me a date as to when I expect the device. I am sorry but I am not paying for something I don't even have yet. How is that fair? Why wasn't I informed of the problems? Why tell me that the device is with the courier when there is no stock / or my order wasn't placed. This is un acceptable.
