On Friday 27th September I was involved in an accident where the other party drove through a stop street. I followed all procedure as instructed by MiWay, who I am insured with, and as at 9 October I have had no form of communication from MiWay. My emails and phone messages are ignored by the supervisor allocated to my claim. The damage was to the back passenger door and bumper. On 3 October I receive an updated policy and notice that the car that was involved in the accident is no longer covered. I query this by email with the relevant document as an attachment and again to-date, 9 October, my query was not replied to. Today I eventually get through to a consultant to be advised that the claim is closed and that my car has been written off by their assessor (who hasn't even viewed the car except on a photo).
So MiWay - your way definitely does not work for me and once this claim has been sorted out I am considering changing my policy to a reliable and efficient provider.
