During 2012 in August I bought a 2012 Polo Vivo sedan, which I paid R125000. I had to look for an insurance before I could get the car. I looked around and was advised to go for Miway. I managed to get my insurance from Miway and my premium was around R1096-00 per month. Three months down the line I got involved in a serious accident and my car was written off. A day after I was released from the hospital I called Miway to put in the claim, they told me they will send an assessor who will look at my case. The assessor came and requested me to drive to an allocated area, I drove there while still wearing brades and was in a critical condition. He ask me a lot of questions which I answered. After a week I tried calling back but could not get any information regarding my case. I was told the assesor will come back to me. After three week an assesor called me and told me they have a problem with the info I supplied during my application, they told me the insurance wont pay my claim because I told them I was insured for three years, nd when they check with my previous insurances I was insured for 1year 9months.
