Cheque Acc debited after account is settled

I received a settlement amount from ABSA Florida on 18 June 2013 which was settled in a couple of days time. I noticed there is still an amount debited from my account and when calling to enquire what its about I am sent from Pillar to Post. When speaking to Richard DeLange (call center agent) he tells me I should go to the branch that issued the settlement statement amount to fix it because they "gave me a wrong settlement amount" This does not make sense to me

My question is why cant this be fixed over the phone because the information is accessed from the same ABSA data base?

Why am I refused to speak to the team leader or manager when the incompetent agent could not assist. To top it all, he put the call on Mute mode to get rid of me-I have always received good service from ABSA but if this is what the service has become, I am very disappointed!!!
