I was provided a settlement amount on my loan account and the settlement payment was done the next day 18/4/2013. The account is still not closed and it is now attracting interest which I cannot be resposible as ABSA has neglected to close your account.
I got a call today from your call centre to advise, Thank you for your payment but you still have an amount outstanding, explained to the agent that the account was settled and waiting for a settllement letter and the agent put the phone down.
This is a very simple request, the account has been paid up, I have paid your fees and interest over the term of the loan with no complaints, all that is needed is for ABSA to close the account and provide a settlement letter...
