64% increase on Premium & delay to payout claim

I am extremely furious and disappointed thus far with the way Dial Direct has treated me

I purchased an X1 BMW last year in Nov where i was quoted R1390 of which i have been paying for 12 months, after a year they now send me a letter stating premium is now R2252.23 which is 64% increase. Two reasons stated was because of a weaker rand and hailstorms that recently occured. They cannot factor the claim in that increment as it has not yet been finalized.

This happens at the time where i logged a claim with them for almost 3 months they haven't booked my car in for repairs. It seems they have been delaying my claim on purpose because now i can't move anywhere before my claim is finalized and my car cannot be booked for service as maintenance is temporarily suspended.

I spoke to one consultant (Leon) who could not quantify and break down an additional 64% on the premium, he stated that it's also because the BMW parts are expensive i.e. R45K while i'm paying an excess of R10K. He advised someone Senior (Amanda) will call me back but no one has.

This has got to be the worst experience i have ever experienced in my entire being and i have been too patient with these people.
