Account Paid up, but still reflecting as default

My Absa Cheque account was handed over to Hammond Pole attorney's. I made an agree to have it paid off, Absa gave me a settlement amount and I agreed to pay the amount with the condition that they will rectify the negative information on XDS reflecting that the account has been settled in full. I sent e-mail to Bontle Jafta who was handing the issue from Hammond Pole at [Email Removed] to bring this matter to finality, but I have been told that Absa must handle that, however while we were discussing settlement, I was told Hammond Pole will send the instruction to Absa.

Can I please have this matter resolved ASAP, as it is affecting my credit profile.
