My fnb cheque card was compromised at the Melville atm on the 18th of august 2013 between 16:00 and 16:14 hours. i reported the card as to fnb, but the perpetrators had already took an instant loan of a thousand rand aswel. The investigator Mr Sogle then called and told me that they looking at the footage and then asked for my copy of my id and well as my fiancees. He later called to tell me the bank has reached a deadlock and they wont be paying me my money back. Reason being that in order for the to take up an instant loan, they also needed to know my date of birth. I then asked Mr Sogle if this means that i had something to do with the, he then said it was up to me how i looked at it but the bank wont pay me my money back which also includes a withdrawal of R1050.00.I then sent an email to ceocomplaints and Sogle decided to send me a claim form which i was asked to fill and a deadlock letter was sent and Mr Sogle said i can take the matter to my lawyers or bank ombadsmun if i wanted to. Mr Sogle is rude and i still have questions more then answers for Fnb as they make people think they are the best bank in the world but they are actually a bank.
