I reported a that happened to my Credit card (2 withdrawals of R1500 and cheque account (payment of R4800) on the say day at same time.
Both moneys have been reversed.
The lady assigned to my Credit card case called and asked a few questions and told me she doesn't know where to start because I haven't being using my card. The case is closed and no one told me anything of the outcome of the investigation.
I called Credit card divisionand lady read out the outcome of the investigation and part of it was that they can't find where my card was compromised and that the ATM that did the withdrawal is known for 'yet they are not doing anything about it'. And that they can't find anything. The cheque division also doesn't have information to give me about the case they say its ongoing. So any FNB ATM is not safe
Most of my friends are telling me that this in an inside job cause I hardly use my credit cards and now the go hold of my cheque and my credit card. They are even offering me help to sue FNB because they are convinced this is internal.
It is so disappointing to use such an innovative bank and yet our money just gets so easily.
