Didnt Do my salary Switch as requested

I moved my account from Capitec to FNB on the 30/07/2013 went to Wood mead branch with my previous bank statement to have my debits switched to my new account. Precious the sales consultant gave me all documents to sign and said she cant print confirmation of switch but she will email it to me same day.1 week later I send her an email to remind her, no response. 2 weeks later I Call her using my cellphone to remind her, he took my account info and said she will get back to me, again a week later which is today 22/08 I call her using my cell phone to get a confirmation if my debits will be running from the new account. her response is she doesn't know and she will check. FNB promises in their ads that salary /debits witches happen in less than 10 minutes. its 22 days later, 3 days before my debits normally go off and I still don't no if they were moved. if the bounce because FNB didn't update them, who will pay for the cost? my Credit info will be damaged due to this!! my first experience with my new bank is the worst!
