In june 2013 I applied for car insurance with standard bank and the policy was to resume in july and according to them (bank) it did and there was a deduction and in august there was insufficient funds in my account so the debit order didn't go through on the contract date now yesterday I had money deposited into my account and the bank decided to deduct R584.33 last night and when I went to the branch (woodmead) to have the funds reversed the teller at enquiries said she cant reverse it as it is the banks deduction and that only the call centre can do it and she called the call centre for me and the lady at the call centre told me that they cant reverse the money into my account and that I wont get it even after cancelling the policy due to the money being deducted after the contract date and at the same time when I applied for the insurance I was told that if I skip the payments the policy would be cancelled and nothing about the money being deducted anytime they want to was said (I was told the conversation was recorded, it can be revisited) I just want STANDARD BANK to reverse my money into my account cause what they did was not part of our agreement & cancel the policy
