Standard bank refusing to reverse money

I mistakenly deposited R2000 in a wrong standard bank account . i went to sunnyside branch to try and reverse the money which they promise to reverse within 10 days. I got the call from standard bank and they told me they cannot reverse the money because there is no money. My money paid the outstanding fees on that account. i want to know if the bank me for putting money in the wrong account. is it safe to bank with standard bank because they cannot rectify mistakes even if you are willing to pay penalties. The reference call number i got from standard bank is A139909.
