I cancelled my standard bank accounts nearly a year ago because of their terrible service to their Titanium customers. At least I tried to cancel them. I got all my accounts to a zero balance, went into the bank and cancelled everything. But in their usual incompetence they did not cancel the credit card but only the checking account. I have subsequently tried to cancel the account 2 more times. Every time getting assurances that it is done. This month I received a statement for an active credit card that I cut up nearly a year ago and it is still incurring service charges.
Standard Bank are not just incompetent they are trying to charge me for their incompetence.
