As a Capitec Bank consumer whoes been a victim of bank card you'd think that their investigation would produce a reasonable outcome. This past Sunday my mother went to the bank to withdraw cash, got their and the machine wasn't responding so she tried to cancelling to eject her card. The machine wouldn't eject it and she was unable to retrieve her card. while at the ATM she received a sms that money was withdrawn from a ATM at a center she was a distance away from. She reported the matter at the Police Station and stopped her card. About three days later she was given a call from Capitec stating that she will not be refunded as their is no evidence that she was a victim of. I don't know what kind of investigation took place, and as loyal consumer receiving such news how is she meant to trust that such a incident won't happen again.
