On the 18th October 2012, my bank card was hacked into and R500 was withdrawn without my knowledge. I received an sms while at home informing me this amount was withdrawn. I immediately rushed to my branch in Dube Soweto to report this misconduct on my card. The teller told me my card had to be closed which I agreed to and thereafter I was issued a new card. I was then advised to report this matter to the nearest police station at Kliptown Police Station. After a few weeks of reporting this to the police station I received a call from the Head Office of Capitec from Cape Town Stellenbosch, she said they made a thorough investigation and cannot trace who money from my account and the bank was not held responsible and therefore will not reimburse me my loss.

This is obviously unacceptable and I'm writing this complaint because I want my money back from this bank that I intrusted with my money!
