Money stollen from my account not being refunded!

On the 26th of February I received an sms of a R1000 withdrawal from my Capitec Acc. I decided to call the number that was provided on the sms, that went straight to the Capitec call centre. I explained to the agent that was assisting me that I received a withdrawal sms from my account but it can't be true because I'm at work and in position of my bank card, he went into my details and confirmed that indeed the money was withdrawn. He then told me that it could be a so he is going to cancel my card and I must go to the police an open a case of. The bank will conduct an investigation and give me feedback in 14 days, depending on the findings they will either refund me or not. After the call he gave me a reference number, then I went to the police station and opened a case. Two days later, I call the bank again to find out the progress on the investigation I discovered the follow: The reference number I was given on the 26th was invalid, the call I made could not be found on their side, there was no investigation being done on my claim.
