Nedbank has always been the best bank for me over years with its excellent service and understanding the clients need.
Having said that i was completely surprised after settling my loan account that it will take up to two weeks before Nedbank issue a settlement letter.
I have settled accounts with other institutions and it took only 2 days to issue same. I have done the right thing by settling my debts but it look like the banks especially Nedbank want to find every possible means to trying and keep people indebted. What is holding you up from issuing that letter? I have made many calls to Nedbank loans department and was taken from pillar to post, with one agent telling me that my account is settled and the other telling me the opposite. I have sent Nedbank my proof of payment and no one bothers to acknowledge receipt or my letters or giving a call back to explain the situation to me. This loan was settled from a Nedbank account but still that has to take days before im issued with a mere settlement letter. People have to be careful with banks like this...
Please issue my letter because i do not owe you.
