Terrible service

I have had a personal loan with Nedbank for many years. Unfortunately due to personal reasons, this fell into arrears. Eventually after many years, I was able to make a settlement payment. I have since then been fighting for over a week for this account to be closed, or even just a letter to say that the payment has been received and the account is in process of being closed. The worst part is that they say it is how I am doing the payment that is causing it. On their statement they instruct you to do EFT's, listing an FNB Bank account number. This then must get transferred to Nedbank. Then from Nedbank to Personal Loans. Then from Personal Loans it gets allocated. Sent proof of payment 4 times, have eventually had them trace and find the payment, and admit that they can see it on the system, but still no one can help, or willing to help. All I need was a letter, even if it is manually typed, saying the funds has been received and the account is in process of being settled. So this letter is all that stands in the way of Me, and a home loan. And NedBank just doesn't care. 3 days left for my bond application before my offer to purchase runs out. Thanks Nedbank.
