I am actually a little miffed with Nedbank for not being able to negotiate a decent settlement amount for a loan i wish to settle. I have been in the the debt trap for many years and have worked furiously to get my accounts/loans settled. I am now in a position to settle all my accounts and i have requested a settlement letter from various loan institutions so that i may settle the full balances. All my loan institutions have offered me a discount (some big, some small) to settle the accounts in full, but Nedbank remains adamant they cannot give me discount or negotiate a better settlement amount. One would think that you would try and assist customers in getting their loans paid off and making it just a little easier on their clients in doing so. I've had my personal loan with Nedbank since January 2013 and have never missed a payment unit last month when i decided to rather settle the whole amount. Thank you FNB & Standard Bank for your discounted offer to settle my balance. My loyalty will always remain with you.
