Firstly standard bank changed my account from mzansi to their access account with out informing me and only found out when I was doing mobile banking that my account is not mzansi anymore even thought ur was the wrong account. Went to standard bank to enquire about what the was going on then they tell me I received an SMS and a call from them, when I told them such never happend they sweated it did. Brought my phone to prove to them then they said they called me on the landline which hasn't been working for over a year. They promised that the account works just like mzansi only cheaper. I made peace with it. But they are at it again, fees have changed and not an SMS or call to notify me of the changes. I work for a bank hence this is a concern for me as I knw how banks operate, but standard bank doesn't have the decency to communicate with me. So if this isn't sorted by Friday then on Monday I'm closing the account and they will lose me as a client.
