Problem with clearling of a settled bill

My mother who was a bond went to a nedbank branch in PE for a settlement amount on her home loan. At the branch they called Nedbank head office requesting a settlement amount and banking details where the money should be transferred or deposited too. She was told to come back after 2days of which she did. She got a letter stipulating that her settlement amount on the house was R19773.28 of which she went to her bank and transferred to the account number given by Nedbank. Weeks after she went to Nedbank to get statement of her transfer and clearing of the loan, to her surprised found that was not a correct settlement amount and was told right settle amount of which was R72778.72 as they gave her a wrong settement amount in the beggining. She paid the R72778.72 but again after received an sms demanding payment, went to a nedbank branch which called head department of home loan of which said she should ignore the sms it was an error. She asked for a home title deed of which they said will take a month. Today 23 september a letter of statement sent to her shows all the amounts she paid plus outstanding interest and unpaid installments. My mother is stressed by it all please help us
