LOSSES INCURRED DUE TO BANK INCOMPETENCE

I deposited 2 cleared amounts on Thursday June 27thm before 1pm at Sandton City Branch for same day value as I had to pay tax account SARS by Friday 28th to prevent any penalties. Deposits did NOT appear on account by close of business. After several expensive cell phone calls and threats the one deposit appeared on account, but insufficient to cover my liability. After several more frustrating calls I have been unable to get any assistance from the Branch. It is now June 29th and I have missed the SARS deadline. I have also tried to contact Brandon the Branch Manager, but to no avail. FNB "Customer Care" really CARE! unable to assist as "it is a branch matter"
FNB appears to be so obsessed with procuring new customers with their Steve and Sunday newspaper campaigns they could care less with servicing current customers. Their senior management hide behind layers of Customer care agents. It is impossible to contact anyone with any authority. They charge excessive fees for the most inane services. Many of their charges are hidden eg 400% increase in safe keeping fees.not publicized..
They offer many innovative and exciting products BUT have lost the plot when dealing with customers
