My Father died and the account has not been frozen despite giving K90 a death certificate. It is impossible to phone the Branch directly as the "customer care centre" (ccc) does not have the number- they can only trf you. The number is not on the statement nor can I find it anywhere on the internet. After being transferred no-one answers and the phone goes dead. Then the "ccc" advises me that branches do not take calls from customers- they service walk in customers only. So, it looks like my only option is to drive to the Branch to enquire about their incompetence. ROLL ON CAPITEC- Take out these inefficient, divorced from reality fatcats and teach them a lesson in customer service.
