I resigned on 20th May and Forbes confirmed receipt of my Pension claim on 30 May 2013. After 15 days, I called Forbes to enquire about progress which I was told my claim was not on the system because it was not received. I challenged that on the basis that I have received confirmation that my claim was received.i was told they will follow up and it will take 3 to 5 days. That's 20 days delay from 30th May. I called again on the 19nth June and I was told the form is on the system but disinvestment was not done on my claim and nobody knows why. I was told i must call again after 3t to 5 days, another 5 days delay. i called on 25 June and was told Disinvestment was done but the trustees put a stop on my claim and was told this could be because of a divorce claim on my pension. I refuted because I have never divorced. I was told it will take 48 hours to follow up. I called today 28 June and I was told to contact SARS because my tax directive was declined. When I checked with SARS I found that Forbes submitted an incorrect tax number different to what they have on my claim form. This are just delaying tactics and I need my money. My house is about to be auctioned. Help!
