Absolutely horrible experience with FNB smart devices/call centre.

I applied for a Samsung S4 on the 10th of May, 2013. I was called by an FNB agent and notified that my application was successful. FNB told me it would take 10 working days for my device to arrive. Called them after 10 days to query the status of my device and instead got tossed around between departments because no one wanted to take responsibility.

Guess what? Still no device. I applied for a Samsung S4 on the 10th of May, 2013 and today is the 11th of June 2013. No call, no postcard, no apologies, no excuses - absolutely NOTHING. I'm a new customer and thus far FNB has not lived up to my expectations. I'm actually considering going back to my previous bank, you know, 'bleep' bank.

This is what you can expect from FNB, apart from funny radio ads:

Incompetence
Empty Promises
Lack of ownership
Poor feedback
Time wastage

And a tag line they fail to live up to:
'How can we HELP you? '
