Whats the point of your insurance!
On the 1st Jun i went to the MTN Clear Water Mall to claim for damages to my phone. Little did i realise how disappointing the service is going to be with the insurance company. On the 3rd, i pd the excess & on the 4th my phone was collected. I sent a mail to Porch on the 5th to enquire about the phone & status update. i had no response & I contacted Thando on the 10th. He advised that he is not in a position to advise the readiness of the phone. They are running out of stock for repairs. I was aggro. He offered to use another colour screen to replace mine & I was horrified when he told me that it is the same colour as mine (white). So, whats the real story here? I requested to speak to a team leader who was not available. Rynard was going to contact me yesterday & i still have not heard from him. I called again earlier on & Bianca promised that she will send a mail to Donovan to call me. I am being inconvenienced without a phone, which is required for my job, i had to travel on business 4 days without a phone. If you are not going to provide efficient repairs to devices then at least you could consider loan devices. This is unacceptable in this day & age.
