Adding their "Hollard" Insurance with my consent

Good day,

I am very upset with ABSA as they just added their own "Hollard" insurance to my Vehicle Finance account, billing me an extra R1000 on my debit order this month.

When enquiring about this I was told that a letter was posted to me stating I must submit an insurance letter or they will add theirs. This is so unacceptable; firstly do you really trust our postal service to deliver a letter? I never got this letter. Secondly, I then sent through my insurance letter but got no feedback?? And haven't received my money back yet?

I have tried phoning the insurance department to sort this out but was on hold for more than 30min?

What gives you the right to go and just add your own insurance on my behalf without my consent?? This is so wrong and me, my family and friends will never do business with ABSA ever again. You are destroying your own name by breaking the trust of your loyal customers.

Please contact me urgently so we can sort this out. I also want a settlement amount as I cannot trust you with my business anymore.
