I received a phone call from ABSA Insurance - asking me if I have insurance on my vehicle. I do have and replied so. They have apparently send a letter to my OLD adress - thus never received it - stating that I should submit my current insurance as proof. I have noticed that my premium has gone up with R440 the last two moths and couldnt understand it. After I investigated I realised that Absa has taken out insurance on my behalf without my permission. They have now deducted R880 already. I tried the call centre - no one could help. I went to the bank - no one could help. All I've got is that I have to send a mail... no one replies! I did sent on my current insurance as well as a letter from my insurance, but no one comes back. I have seen that there are several more complaints on Hello Peter similarly... PATHETIC
