TAKING OUT VEHICLE INSURANCE WITHOUT MY CONSENT!

I would like to express dissatisfaction with the recent encounter I have had with ABSA

On 28 June, I received a call from a lady named: Balne who asked if I had vehicle insurance and to email proof of my insurance.

I informed her that I do have vehicle insurance as this was the terms and conditions of getting vehicle finance from you and I emailed confirmation of my vehicle insurance on the same day.

To my surprise, ABSA has debited me R3400 instead of R2700. I have called the contact centre today and they have told me that the additional R700 is for the vehicle insurance that I recently took out with ABSA. I ALREADY HAVE VEHICLE INSURANCE SO WHY WOULD I WANT TO OVERINSURE MYSELF!!! AND WHY ARE YOU TAKING OUT INSURANCE AND DEBITING MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I DON'T EVEN HAVE DOCUMENTS FOR THIS INSURANCE.

I am so upset that they would take money which does not belong to you. I would think this Bank is trust worthy and now insurance has been taken out in MY NAME without my CONSENT yet alone notification.
