I noticed on std banks atm's the cardless withdrawal option, I thought cool this could come in handy and it did today (so I thought). Not knowing how to go about it I called and enquired how do I go about this. I was told to logon to cell phone banking and enter in the cell phone number of the person I want to transfer the money to and then that person can go to the ATM and retrieve the money using the cell phone number. Needless to say the recipient did not get the money, when I enquired I was transferred from pillar to post then I was informed that the recipient needed to be std bank customer as well. This information could have come in handy if given to me on my first enquiry and all of this would be not be happening. Now I cannot get my money back because I was given the wrong info and I need to contact the person that told me this, wonderful service!!! And it would cost me more to have my money refunded that what I actually transferred!!! What stupid service is being offered if I can only transfer money to another std bank customer... no wonder everyone is moving with Steve!!! Think I should do the same!
