Disgusting service delivery

I resigned from my job at the end of Nov '12. I requested to withdraw my pension.
When I called on 28 Dec, I was told that I had received tax clearance from SARS and that payment would be made within 7-14 working days from 12 Dec.
When I hadnt received any communication or payment I called back to find out that they had found a personal loan in my name and had requested a settlement figure from my bank - firstly, who are Alexander Forbes to take it upon themselves to do this? They then found a home loan in my name so payment couldnt be done. Had they bothered to do their homework properly they would have called my ex Company's HR dept or myself to find out that none of these loans are through my ex Company or are pension guaranteed loans.
Eventually, I was told to email through a letter stating that I do not want them to pay these loans out of my pension - which is ridiculous because they didnt have authority to do this anyway! I then sent them the letter.
I cant believe the lack of communication with their clients! If I hadnt continuosly called I would never had known what was going on with my claim. I cant beleive that this company is entrusted with HUGE corporations pensions!
