On 12 June 2013 I resigned from Business Connexion. My Human Resources advised me that my pension and provident fund would take - 2 to 3 weeks to pay out. I contacted Alexander Forbes two weeks ago and they said that it was nearly finalised and they would contact me during the week. I did not receive a call from them so I contacted them again today only to find out that they hadn't even started processing my pension payout as according to them they were waiting for proof of the final premium of my pension that was deducted on 30 June 2013 (this shows on my final payslip). They received the documents on 2 July but did not bother to follow up the receipt of the premium. I find the service from Alexander Forbes very disappointing as they are supposed to be a very reputable company. I am leaving for Saudi Arabia shortly and would like this matter to be finalised before I leave.
