I stopped the FFW debit order on my Absa online banking last month as I did not wish to continue with the policy. I went to Absa Killarney to stop the debit order there and was advised by their manager that they had no authority to stop the debit order. (the reason they say is that your amounts on the debits keep changing and that they need FFW to stop the debit order from their side first) Imagine my surprise when I got naedo debited 4 times this month for last month's premium (which I stopped) and you took a premium for May with no retention phonecall to bother to find out why the premium was not paid in April. Each attempt of FFW costed me roughly R130 for each bounced debit according to Absa. I have now have had an additional R565 taken off my account as an "Administration charge" for all of the returned debits from FFW. I approached Absa to reverse all charges as well as the premium that FFW took this month (note that I stopped this last month) and was advised that I have to contact FFW for reimbursement on these all of these charges and premium. I want my bank charges, the May premium you took as well as a mystery extra R59 that was debited by FFW reimbursed pronto.
