MiWay not doing it MY WAY!!!

I was going through my bank account when I noticed that MiWay hadn't debited my premium on 25 May as per our agreement. When I went back in my records, I then picked up that April hadn't been debited for either. I logged into my policy online and it was there that I saw that the last premium was debited in March. I called the call centre & spoke to Nomfundo. She was confused from the onset. She said that the reason MiWay didn't debit was because I logged into my policy online &didn't log out. Huh? I questioned what that had to do with my debit order. She told me she didn't know, she just thinks thats why. If I log onto a site, with confidential information, shouldn't the site automatically log me off if I've been idle for some time? My agreement with MiWay was to have my premium debited on the 25th of every month. That wasn't done and I don't see how my logging into my policy would have stopped that. I made no changes to my bank details and I did not instruct anyone to stop debiting my account. And logic would tell me that, if you don't receive a premium, you would let me know via email, sms or phone call. If I hadn't picked this up, I would have had a problem when I'd have to claim!!!
