Existing client not valued as much as new clients!

A deal currently on with Fnb [URL Removed]
made me irate aside from the slippery adverting.
The ad in question offers a Samsung S4 for 299 with cell c with 100meg data, 100 smses, 100min airtime for R299. I was excited and glad to be reward for being an FNB client for more than 27 years.
Well to my horror the offer with the 100meg data, 100 smses, 100min airtime is for new clients.
Wait for it as an existing client you get the phone just the phone at the same price. see [URL Removed]

Has a corporate such as FNB not learned that its more difficult to get new clients than retain existing ones.
Why in heavens name would they offer a better deal to the new client surely the existing loyal clients should get a fair shake. I think this. I am tempted to cancel my account and move elsewhere.
