I have been an existing FNB client for over 20 years. I saw the Samsung S4 offer which looked great - an S4 and Cell C contract for R299. I ordered mine online. When the phone arrived I was surprised not to find the Cell C contract and sim card. On enquiry, I was told that existing customers only get the phone!! Only new customers get the airtime etc as well. So now I must go and take out another contract in order to get airtime. How ridiculous! I would never have gone for this deal had I known that was the case. How is this fair to loyal FNB customers? So I want to return the phone within the 7 day cooling off period only to be told that I will be charged 20% of the value of the device because I have opened the box!! At this rate I feel like leaving FNB and joining another bank that doesn't try to trick their loyal customers!
