Not Accomodating to injuries

The lady at check in was not able to accommodate me on seating. As we all know seats are open for a reason. I was injured over the weekend and needed a seat in the front where my legs could have room. This was entirely dismissed and the lady was rude, she also insisted that we run to SAA to get cable ties for our bags as she could not help us saying that they had run out of stock. I am usually extremely happy with BA as I have flown it often but this was just not a great experience I know they can and have done better.
