On 26/12/12 I had a very pleasant trip from JHB to Beaufort West with Greyhound.

I had also booked a return ticked for 02/01/13.(PM). The bus arrived 45min late in Beaufort West, the hostess mumbled something (I think she said welcome to greyhound) while she was locating my seat number. They put on a movie, with no speakers on - passengers actually called the hostess and asked her to switch them on. She agreed and then we had our first stop and it's called as a 15min break. We sit there for 30. Now we are a hour behind schedule. Back in the bus and the Tv flashes on and goes off again. The hostess pops in and out of the lower deck 3 times. No word said to the passengers, and the movie never continues.

At around 11pm we stop at a pick up point (mirage motors) and we sit there and wait - for a full hour. I suppose it was a driver swop as nothing was explained to us, but the next thing we had a new hostess.

SMS at 01:00 - running 2 hours late!!!

At the next stop the bus stalls, and they forget to put the lights or aircons on for the lower deck. I had to go find the hostess after an hour to get this sorted. AND AGAIN at the next stop.

Got to JHB 3 hours late!
