Poor service from hostess

I purchased a bus ticket for my 12-yr old niece from Pretoria (Pta) to Kimberley (Kby). The cashier requested proof of date of birth (as she would be travelling unaccompanied) which I provided. Same protocol applied when she boarded the bus in Pta (departing at 11:45am). However, when the bus arrived at Park Station passengers had to disembark to change buses. The hostess (Zanele/Yonela Manzana) on the Kby bus denied my niece access claiming "she does not look 12 ". My niece called me & I explained to the hostess that we had presented the necessary proof both at the purchase point & when boarding in Pta & my niece is indeed 12yrs old. She however was belligerent & I was totally bewildered as she went on a tirade & continually threatened to leave my niece behind. I then asked her to hand the phone to the bus driver. I also called the helpdesk & my niece was then allowed on the bus. When my sister enquired from the hostess; when the bus arrived in Kby; about her conduct she was dismissive but several passengers confirmed what had transpired! I am aggrieved that the hostess acted in such an unacceptable manner & that we had to undergo so much anguish because of her lack of professionalism.
