How Is MTN still in Operation with Such Service

I've realized that I'm going to get Heart Palpitations from the kind of service that MTN renders. I made a payment for the amount of R7474.54 on the 11/04/2013. My account is up-to-date and on the 21/04/2013 was Cut Off without any Notification. I called the at the Call Centre to open my line, Bear in mind my Minutes Renewed on that date. This took 4 hours to action. On the 27/04/2013 I realised that my data bundle line has been cut off. I called the Crazy House (Call-Centre) and I was told I had reached my credit limit. Due to the fact that my unbilled balance and billed balance were affecting my limit. How does that make sense and how is my problem? So I was told to increased credit limit to R3000. This was on the 27/04/2013. To my Surprise on the 28/04/2013 my data line is still not connected. Please advise how you can cut my Uncapped Data Line and not my Contract Line? How does my Unbilled Balance affect my Credit Limit? Why is there never relevant notification or Communication before you decide to action changes to MY ACCOUNT?
