BILLED FOR SERVICE NOT RECEIVED

MTN called me to sell me a 3g device in January 2012. It turns out that there was no access in the area that i was in. I called to complain and get assistance was transferred from pillar to post, they called me back to confirm that they would cancel the contract and collect the unit which they did in May 2012. I am still being charged for the unit every month since. I stopped my debit order in October last year and now find that i have been handed over to their attorneys. I have been to numerous MTN stores in Cape Town, explained my situation, handed over the copy of the waybill where the unit was collected and also provided all previous references to all previous calls but not one person from MTN has EVER come back to me to resolve this matter. Now they have handed my account over to attorneys who says my account is in arrears in excess of R4000. The monthly amount was R149 over a 24 month period which is a far cry from R4000
